The members of FCCLA sponsored a holiday door decorating contest. The contest, “Holidoor,” is for AML classes, and ran from 12/10 to 12/14. The 3 best doors will win donuts, hot chocolate, and juice.

Mrs. Thomas, the FCCLA sponsor, said that they chose this idea because it was the first week of December so they wanted to do something fun.

The club chose AML because they felt it would be easier and less distracting than during regular classes.

“(we thought) it would be easier to reward the AML classes and not take away class time,” said Thomas.

Thomas explained that the contest was limited to three doors and to a donut party because there was a limited budget.

Thomas said the plan was developed by the students in FCCLA.
