Hawks rage with variety of unique fashion

High school is the time where we as teenagers are learning to express ourselves and the students at Hazelwood Central are no exception to this assertion. After speaking with a couple of students, I had the opportunity to get a glimpse into what is trending within our walls. From thrifted pieces to retail items and luxury brands, Central high school is raging with unique fashion.
Senior Justin Wright says his personal style is “Tries too hard to dress like an edgy Hipster.” Like Jarrell, Wright usually gets his clothes from thrift stores and H&M but will also shop at Pacsun or Zumiez if he “feels like spending money.” These shopping habits bring his monthly average to only $50. When he puts his outfits together Wright states, “ I look at myself and say 'Do I care?' and if I do I’ll put on my black jeans.” His style icons are singer Conan Gray and YouTube personality Ethan Dolan. When asked about trends Wright responded, “I think everyone should dress the way they like and if they feel comfortable, wear it. You can always look back on a picture and laugh about it later.”
