The incredible athletic profiles of Hazelwood Central athletes: Jayden Atkins and Brooke Bradley
This is the story of two athletes who have dedicated themselves and their lives to these sports and how they have grown over time and the challenge they had to face playing basketball and running track at Hazelwood Central the last 4 years.
Jayden Atkins started off playing basketball and never had track in his mind until his basketball coach told him that he should try track and field.
“My basketball coach told me I should start doing jumps for track and the rest was history,” said Atkins.
Brooke Bradley and Jayden share similar stories but different ways to tell their stories. They both have one thing in common and that’s dedication and commitment.
They both started off with basketball but Jayden found commitment in different sports after basketball, Brooke and Jayden both have made some great accomplishments and achievements.
They both play varsity and feel good about being on varsity.
“I’m on varsity and I feel good about and we beat some really good teams this year,” explained Bradley.
Brooke and Jayden have been going to central all 4 years of high school. They have built bonds with many people and have met so many different people who have made them better and helped them.
Both of them have had some days where they felt emotional about their sports and things also have made them upset. Brook has cried over a lost game but he still felt loved by basketball over the last 4 years.
“I feel loved doing the sport especially over the last for years,” said Bradley.
